Coral bay and Exmouth

Nothing much to say about coral bay. I had heard a lot about the place but I was disappointed.
The beach was small and crowded, and the snorkeling was not that good at all!
Everyone did have a good laugh when I put my snorkeling mask on!

In the afternoon we headed of to exmouth to go and camp in the Cape Range National Park.
Bad luck, when we arrived all the camping places were full. We were denied access to the park. So we headed of to a nearby campsite to spend the night.

Aww! Cute cockatoos drinking from a tap!

A funny sight arriving at the campsite! Emus wandering around the carpark!
Chose étonnant en arrivant au camping! Des Emus sur le parking!

That evening we went to a nearby beach to have a go at fishing.
We didn't catch much but did have a real fright!!
We were standing about knee high in the water when one of our friends said that he had just seen a ray. I and another friend looked down at our feet into the water only to see a reef shark swim between our feet!
We gave eat other one frantic look of fear, then screamed, and ran towards the beach!
Ok, reef sharks aren't 'that' dangerous, but they do have a nasty bite! And i didn't fancy going home to europe with a bit of leg missing!
No more fishing that evening!
